My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey and her sister Macky and their siblings were rescued at a young age from an unsafe industrial area. Honey was named for her sweet, quiet disposition. She is currently being cared for by the great team at Cat Cafe Lounge. She has gained confidence and has learned to really blossom into her personality. Honey is known to have what they endearingly call grandma energy. Although she is still fairly young (born sometime in April 2023) she acts a little mature for her age but she also likes to play! She loves pets and purrs loudly. One of her favorite activities is bird-watching and chirping along with them.

Honey is bonded to her sister Macky (KRLA-A-4552) and they can be found grooming each other or napping together. Honey and Macky really love chasing reflections of light on the walls! They will stop whatever they are doing to chase the magical light. Honey looks forward to her forever family and hopes they come along soon.

This animal is bonded to Macky and should remain together with them. Please visit Macky's profile, id: KRLA-A-4552

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
