My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

June Bug and Samantha (KRLA-A-4102) are ready to fill your home with love warmth and endless snuggles. Together, this pair of senior sweethearts will be the perfect match for anyone seeking two cuddly couch potatoes to share their days with. June Bug and Samantha are a mother-daughter team and share an unbreakable bond; think Sophia and Dorothy of "The Golden Girls" fame. These sweet ladies came to Kitten Rescue from a shelter where they ended up after their first owner died. Now they're on the lookout for a calm, patient family who will appreciate the wisdom these seasoned felines have to share. June Bug delights with her calico beauty and Samantha charms with her protective instincts for her mom. Together they form a harmonious duo that promises to bring joy to your days. Despite their senior status, these girls have plenty of love to give. All they ask for in return is a peaceful and nurturing environment where they can blossom. So if you're an experienced cat owner looking for a pair of senior companions to share your life with, June Bug and Samantha are eagerly awaiting the chance to become your loyal couch companions! Come meet these adorable felines and let their purrs melt away your stress as they snuggle their way into your heart! If you are interested in learning more about these kitties or in adopting them, please email: manager@kittenrescue.org.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
