Say Hi to Sandy. If you are looking for some entertainment in your life this petite lady will deliver. Her antics will keep you constantly amused. Even though she is an adult she still thinks she is a kitten. Watching her leap up in the air with all feet off the ground as she pounces on a stuffed toy, then somersaulting over it will make you laugh.

Do you hear meowing coming down the hall... It will be Sandy bringing you her stuffed mouse.

When she has decided play time is over she will head to your lap for rubs, snuggles, kisses and a nap. Sandy lives with many foster kitties but she can get jealous of them if they want attention at the same time she does.

Sandy is the whole package and would love to be part of your family.

Come visit Sandy at our partner cat cafe in Pasadena, Tail Town Cats during their business hours (Friday - Sunday 11am - 5pm).

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
