Meet Taquito, the purrfect bundle of feline energy! This whisker wonder is a pro at rolling up like a burrito over a mountain of catnip, ready to embark on an adventure of relaxation. When his fur siblings are getting attention, Taquito's swift paws carry him over, determined to squeeze in his share of chin and head scratches, though he's off on another escapade before you know it.

Food is Taquito's love language, and he's a connoisseur of delights, especially Churu, which makes his whiskers twitch with excitement. As you prepare meals, he's there in a flash, eagerly licking up every last morsel from spoons and tin cans alike. But don't think his love for food means he's not a fan of lounging - Taquito can often be found basking in the sunlight, lounging like royalty.

When he's not indulging in culinary delights or perfecting his lounging technique, Taquito enjoys quality entertainment, whether it's binge-watching Cat TV or engaging in spirited games with his beloved spring toys. We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
