Nori is a majestic little soul who will steal your heart at first glance he's absolutely stunning with his jet black silky soft hair piercing golden eyes and white crown necklace. He's part wizard part wolfie part old soul and part aqua cat as he loves drinking water from and playing in the shower! You'll catch him licking his lips at the sound of running water! He's very affectionate and loves sleeping on his foster mom's chest or curled up next to her. He's extremely curious and playful and has the cutest softest little baritone meow. He's the sweetest little boy with an outgoing adventurous personality. Nori was rescued with his 3 siblings and mom in the heavy rains he's bonded with his brothers and needs to be adopted with one of them or into a home with another kitten close to his age to play with!

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
