My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🖤FOSTER/ADOPT NETO🖤

M | 4Y | 28.3 KG | Mixed Breed | UTD on shots | Neutered | Dog selective | NO CATS | Kid neutral | Medium energy | Crate trained | Housebroken | Playful | Loves a good cuddle | Fostered in London

Neto the gentle giant is ready to meet his forever home! This smart and affectionate boy is bound to take over your heart with just one look. Neto will sit with his face in your lap and eye you until you pet him, that's how much he enjoys being next to you!

Neto loves his food and is very food-motivated. This has helped him pick up a few basic commands in just a few days! His calm nature also makes it easy for you to put on his leash and bathe him. Neto's still learning how to play, but with an introduction, he'll turn out to be a real goofball who loves fetch!

An ideal day for Neto would have lots of mental stimulation and training. He loves treats and puzzle toys, making him a great candidate to learn quite a few tricks. He enjoys being outside, but gets very nervous around moving vehicles (including bikes and scooters), and will need a confident owner who is good at setting and maintaining boundaries until he's settled in. He will pull on his leash when he's anxious, but he has improved tons with aids like a prong collar and a gentle leader. It wouldn't hurt for his day to end with lots of cuddles with his forever family and a few treats, too.

Neto has a prey drive and would do well in a household with no cats or small animals. He's met a few dogs while on walks and prefers dogs who respect his space (we don't like strangers up in our space either!). He would do well with a calm and confident doggy sibling who can also be respectful of his space until they get comfy with each other! Neto has meet a few kiddos and did well with them! With calm and respectful kids, it is possible they can become great buds!

Neto's ideal forever family would live in a quieter area and would be confident to help him through his nervousness and reactivity outside! If you're ready for an intelligent and loving dog to join your family, then Neto is the one for you! You'll never have a lonely day with Neto by your side.
