My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Abby, a serene and graceful long-haired beauty with soft calico spots. Her calming presence and quiet confidence instantly brings a sense of peace to any room. Abby loves her self-care routine, whether it's lounging in the sun or enjoying gentle pets and brushes, making every moment with her feel like a soothing escape.

Though mostly quiet, Abby will surprise you with her sporadic, scratchy meows that are as quirky as they are adorable. If you're seeking a sweet, low-key companion who values comfort and zen, Abby is the perfect match for your home.

More about this shelter

CCA was founded in 1980 by a small group of individuals dedicated to helping animals. Since then, our group has grown to include a small shelter. Our group's mission is varied: to maintain a shelter for abandoned, sick or injured animals; to adopt out dogs and cats to loving permanent homes; to provide for their animals low-cost spay/neuter assistance to families who lack the means to pay; and to strive to prevent and to stop abuse and/or neglect of an animal.

We are always in need of volunteers! If you are interested in becoming a part of our group, please let us know by calling 864.243.4222. We'd be glad to have you on board!
