Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
3.5 years old (May 5, 2021). He was a rescue that we got in New Mexico. He's done well with training but stresses his sister out because they both struggle for attention.
He's had to have surgery twice to remove a toy and something rubbery he found on the street from his stomach. That means no toys or anything on the floors. He's always on the hunt for something to eat. Even a slow feeder doesn't chill his urge. He has to wear a muzzle now which scares people but he's very sweet and just wants to give a ton of love. He also has a grain allergy.
He's never gotten rid of the puppy urge to jump and excited snap at peoples faces. He's only ever done this to people who come inside to visit until he calms down. He chills out after that. We've raised him around many dogs and he does great as long as they're not aggressive. He has an urge to protect if he thinks you're in danger. He requires a lot of love and attention that we just cant give him now with our professions.
