Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Penny is a lovely little girl who is the most petite and reserved/shy kitten of her litter! She has beautiful copper-colored eyes and a light tan coat with some stripes here and there for show! Penny has a very unique coat that reminds us of a wild rabbit's coat or maybe she looks a little like an Abyssinian! She was rescued from an abandoned house along with her siblings and some other adult cats. Penny can be picked up and held but she is still nervous with people and will need a calm and patient adopter to help her feel comfortable with her new life. (We are not recommending young children for this kitten.) Penny will need an adopter that is willing to continue socializing her and is willing to accept that she may always be a little skittish. (She may change quite a bit in personality once she is in a real home or it is possible that the skittishness is just part of her personality. We want someone to adopt her that will accept her for who she is and will be willing to keep her regardless.) ***Experience with feral cats would be a definite plus but not necessarily required.*** Penny enjoys the company of the other kittens in her litter as well as other cats. She ABSOLUTELY MUST go to a home with another cat or kitten! It would be ideal for her to be adopted with another kitten that she knows, although not required as long as there is another cat or kitten in the home. Perhaps you would like to adopt 2 kittens?! (Ask about our 2 for the price of 1 deal!) Penny was introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog while in our care and was scared so definitely no rowdy dogs for her but calm dogs that would give her space would most likely be fine with an appropriate amount of time given to adjust. Penny will have been spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at her time of adoption! She is expected to be ready for adoption on May 21tst! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!
