My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin might look like Scooby-Doo, but the only mystery he’s trying to solve is why he hasn’t been adopted yet! This snuggly, sweet, and goofy guy is the total package:
✅ house-trained
✅ knows basic commands
✅ loves dogs and kids
✅ gentle walking on a leashIf unaltered, will be scheduled for spay/neuter before leaving LRAV. To see all our animals, click here. For adoption or rescue information, click here.

Be sure to have the ID number so LRAS will know what animals you are referring to.

You will want to take him or her out of the kennel area, and go outside. Please be aware that when they are comfortable in a home, they will relax, and their personality will be different than in the shelter.

When you are ready to adopt the LRAS policy is first come - first serve. You cannot reserve an animal for adoption. An Adoption Application is required. The animals can be adopted at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday-Saturday on their available date.

It is a state law that an animal can not leave a shelter until sterilized (Arkansas Code 20-19-103 I (1). For animals needing sterilization, they will be altered at the next available time by the LRAS veterinarian. If the animal is too young or sick to be altered, the vet will sign a medical waiver and give a date the animal can be returned to be altered.
