Welcome our newest little low rider angel, Winston! Winston is estimated to be 1-2 years old. He is a Beagle/Dachshund mix. Please research both of these breeds if you are interested as both breeds are wonderful but come with their difficulties. Resource links provided below. He is currently 8 lb. He is working on finishing out his potty training. Both Beagles and Dachshunds like to vocalize, and he has definitely taken on that trait. He's not a crazy barker, but he does like to tell you what's what. He is an active little pup and would definitely benefit from a SECURE fenced-in yard. Be warned, both beagles and dachshunds use their noses heavily. His nose will take him on an adventure! A dog on an adventure is a dog in danger. He is an escape artist and actively looks for ways to get out. He is cat and dog friendly though he is still learning some boundaries with the cats as he is curious of them. He is kid-friendly as long as the kids are respectful and know how to act around dogs. He is doing absolutely amazing around the kids in his foster home. We believe he would do best in a home that already has another pet rather than being an only dog. He is very engaging with the dogs in his foster home and loves to play and the companionship they offer. He is an absolute lover and cuddler and just more than happy to become your best friend!
