Meet Pops, a 4 and a half -year-old male Pit Bull mix.
Pops is such a sweetheart, and he loves to press right up against you and even gives kisses. He is very easygoing and has lots of neck wrinkles you can't help but rub. He has the look of a seal when he lays down for belly rubs and will keep you laughing with his goofy personality and looks. He loves his treats, walks well on leash and will scoot towards you for more attention; what's not to love about this handsome boy? Pops is a dog that would like a household that has a canine companion with the same energy level as him. Or he would love to be an only dog. Pops has done great with some dogs in the past but other dogs he likes to correct when they get too rowdy, he never takes it too far but we feel that he would just prefer lower-key dogs. Pops could also do great in a house with kids over 10 years old.

Our mission is to help you find a pet that meets your expectations and lifestyle. You’re invited to visit with a prospective pet in one of our "Meet N' Greet" rooms. We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

We do our best to keep adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. Adoption fees help provide medical care, food and shelter to the animals in our care.
