My name is Elsa!

Meet Elsa! Elsa is a sweet 15 pound, 7 year-old, Havanese.

Elsa is a recent rescue from a puppy mill. She was utilized for breeding, and as such has many characteristics of a mill dog rescue-- she's shy, skittish, and takes some time to warm up to humans. However, once she gets to know you, Elsa loves having her person and the ability to run around outside. She likes to take walks as well. She probably will do very well in a home with outdoor space and another friendly dog to keep her company.

Elsa is currently located in Manhattan and her adoption fee is $600.00.

Elsa is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
