My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Thor! Named after the god of thunder I am sworn to protect humankind (just like my breed!). My goofy demeanor and good looks will surely cheer all humans crossing my path.

Learning from the best (Anderson's Behavior Team), I am ready to take on a new human to train. I can teach you all the important things I learned in my home: pottying outside, keeping paws to ourselves, the art of "keep away", and relaxing in the great outdoors. Will you be the lucky student to learn from the god of thunder himself?

My favorite things are:
- Exploring the outdoors
- Spending time with my friends (human and dog!)
- Splashing around in the pool
- Learning new skills (I am really smart!)
- Sharing my love for humans

Cues I know:
- Sit
- Down
- Touch
- Take It/Drop It
- Fetch/Tug with rules

Thor is an all-star dog, and his adoption appointment includes a discussion with the training team, as well as a few enrichment goodies to help get you both off to a good start. To learn more about Thor or to schedule an appointment to meet him, please email info@ahconnects.org (including your name and phone number), and the staff will be happy to assist you.

Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (7 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians.
