For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Cantina is sweet, but shy. She came to us as a kitten but was sadly overlooked. She finally found a home when she was a young adult, but unfortunately has come back to the shelter due to her person having to go to assisted living. She's scared being back at the shelter and is having to learn to trust all over again. Even more tragic, before she made it safely back to us, she was brought to another shelter that deemed her unadoptable which would have led to her being euthanized! Cantina's unfortunate circumstances and shyness shouldn't be a death sentence and we know there's another home out there for her. We know the right person will give her a chance, be patient and give her time to learn to trust again.
