Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Greetings, I'm Paco. Once a stray in Honduras, I now enjoy the comforts of Big Dog Ranch Rescue and am in search of a FURever home. I've completed my heartworm treatments and am on the mend. And now, I am ready for my walks and someone to love me. As a spry eight-year-old, I'm generally tranquil but delighted in my daily strolls and skilled at walking on a leash. My friendly nature and charming smile are often complimented, and I take pride in my role as an office dog from time to time in the adoption office- a very prestigious title! Known as a Potcake in the Islands, my heritage may also include Feist and Hound. Since April, I've been here, awaiting adoption with patience. I get along quite nicely with other dogs, but I admit, I don't care for the exuberant pups getting in my face. Although this place is a wonderful refuge, I yearn for a home. I'm well-behaved indoors, obey simple commands like 'sit', and may offer my paw if you're courteous (and have a treat handy). I have hints at a past as a beloved pet. Just one quirk: I occasionally peek at countertops, so more training may be needed.
Nonetheless, I'm highly motivated by treats. Weighing in at about 40 pounds, I'm a medium-sized buddy. Would you consider welcoming a happy guy like me into your life? As you can see, my PAWS are crossed, and I'm hoping you pick me!
