My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say a sweet hello to beautiful Selena, and then get your fingers ready for belly pets! This striking short-haired black female cat has had it rough so far, but that hasn’t stopped her from being the gentlest soul you’ll ever meet in a cat. She’s happy and content to just rest in a warm sunny place, but itch her behind her ears for more than two seconds though and she’ll gleefully roll over and soak in all the love and attention she can get! She is well adjusted to other cats and dogs, knowing how to handle herself perfectly and get along just fine, and while she loves getting love from humans, she seems happiest when she has another cat to be her buddy.

Selena may look familiar to some of you because she was with us previously; she was adopted, but then returned to us after testing positive for Calicivirus. Although this is a very common feline issue, it doesn’t seem to affect her beyond getting stuffy noses. An owner should be ready for some occasional cold like symptoms that resolve pretty quickly without needing treatment, and she’s super healthy otherwise, you’ll just have to get used to telling her “bless you!” Selena is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Selena is about 1 year old.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who are trying to make an impact on the feral cat and kitten population in our county. We are also expanding to rescue and foster puppies and dogs. We are foster based and run on donations and support of our community. Our rescued animals are carefully assessed and placed with an experienced foster. All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We also TNR and have barn cats available too.
