Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Flauta is the most amazing young cat. He has it all!- personality, good looks, sweet demeanor, easy going and just enough playfulness to be fun!
Flauta is a tall, handsome, young kitty. He is very sweet and affectionate and seeks attention and affection. He likes to talk and tell his foster human about his day. He loves hanging out on his tall cat tree and looking out the window at the birds and lizards.
He is OK for periods of time by himself. He would be OK as a single cat. He loves cat friendly dogs and gets excited whenever he sees a dog walk by at the adoption events. He would love a kitty-friendly dog pal in his new home. He is also OK with the foster kittens in his home and probably would be OK with another kitty that is not a bully. He loved the resident cat at the Cat Vet Clinic. So, we think he'd enjoy a cat with a similar personality to his (laid back).
He is on a prescription urinary diet, which he loves.
Our adoption process includes a trial period, where Flauta would live in your home prior to adoption.

More about this rescue
Animal Justice League (AJL) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt dog and cat rescue organization with a focus on the Oak Forest and Garden Oaks neighborhoods of Houston, TX. AJL was formed on January 27, 2015, but really, the work began long before then!
In a neighborhood that often serves as a dumping ground for unwanted animals, in a city that is overridden with homeless pets, and shelters that are at capacity, we saw a need and knew it was time to make a difference.
We rescue dogs off of the brutal streets of Houston, help care for those that are no longer wanted or cared for by their previous owners, and are registered to pull dogs and cats from the city, county, and nearby shelters. We also help reduce the community cat and kitten population through a robust TNR (trap, neuter, return) program.
Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through rescue, education, and outreach. Help us make our mission a reality!
