My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jiro is a sassy little lady and is bonded with her BFF Prism. She is the more outgoing of the two, and while humans don't thrill her, Jiro is happy to take millet from their hands. She is playful and vocal and can be a little bossy. Jiro is looking for a home that will help maintain her healthy diet. She has slimmed from being obese on a seed diet and now is active and healthy, so she wants to stay that way. Do you have room in your home for this pair? Adoption Fee: $30 for both birds.

Additional adoption info

Whether interested in adopting a particular bird or not, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. From there, our adoption team will process your application (including background check, veterinarian check for all current animals, and a home visit)
We will not ship any of our adoptable birds, and have a 100-mile adoption radius. We do not adopt to breeders. We are not able to adopt birds into homes that use Teflon product or smoke due to toxicity dangers.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

The FIRST step is to fill out an adoption application on our website at www.staravian.org/adopt. We are not able to arrange a meeting without first filling out an adoption application.
