Dumpling and Darling were rescued on April 5, 2024 from a horse race track in Southern California where someone abandoned 15 rabbits just after Easter.

These are both small girls with an agouti fur pattern. Dumpling has a white dot on her nose. They are gentle, quiet, small, sweet girls. They would make a lovely addition to any household.

Their estimated date of birth is October 2023. They were spayed on April 17, 2024.

Dumpling and Darling should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. They can have that as their home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Dumpling and Darling can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!
