My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy Hope came to rescue March 2024 after surviving three gunshots to the face and shoulder. She was taken in by a local shelter, then came to Lily's Pad Rescue to recover from multiple surgeries to save her life. She is being loved on by her foster family. This sweet girl would love a fun home who can continue to be patient with her as she continues to learn trust. She is still working on the housetraining, but is coming along. She loves to play fetch and is even learning basic commands like sit and lay. She is playful with other dogs but only cares for dogs her size and bigger.

🦄 No small animals including small dogs. She doesn't like them.
🦄 No small children. Kids 9 and older OK.
🦄 Meet and greet with your dogs required. Only dogs her size and bigger.

Additional adoption info

If you are not local to us, we have rescue partners who will complete home checks. We also do like to have photos of your home, specifically the places the pup will be spending their time. We very diligently check references, so please make sure to include them. Applications without references will not move forward in the adoption process. If you do not currently have a vet, explain why and we can offer resources in your area.

More about this rescue

Lily's Pad Rescue is focused on special needs/medically needy English and French Bulldogs. We started LPR after adopting Lilypad, an English Bulldog with Spina Bifida. We found this huge need in the community of helping these incredible dogs find their families. Our goal is to educate others on the care of bulldogs with special needs, so these kiddos have a chance at a great quality of life. We stay along side our adoptive families lifelong, because we know the extra attention that goes in to care, we want you to have a positive experience, but also we are dedicated to the lives we helped to save.
