My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sanjo is a very sweet dog. A coworker adopted him from a shelter in September 2023. He was listed as 5 years old at that time and his prior history unknown. When she recently fell ill and could no longer properly care for him, I decided to take him in. I had someone lined up to adopt him but that fell through.

My forever dog is a jealous chihuahua who is finding it difficult to adjust to him, I work full time and take care of my elderly mother. I'm not able to give Sanjo the time and care he deserves. My wish is to find him a loving owner.

He is good and house trained. I have not seen any behavioral issues other than he does tend to scratch himself when he is anxious. He has a scrape on his back that we are currently healing. My coworker said he got the cut from a fence. He enjoys going for short walks and is not a picky eater. He really just needs someone to love and snuggle him.
