My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Judy Garland is a darling young cat who was picked up outside but was too sweet to go back! She is a small girl, but when it comes to food she has a big voice! We think she might be a teenager, and may still grow a bit.

Judy needs a little time to feel comfortable with new people, but we found the key to her heart: food! Once she’s gotten used to you, she will put her head in your hand to ask for scratches, and will sleep in bed with her people at night.

Judy is pretty laid-back, and likes to entertain herself with felt balls, feather toys, and wiggle worm toys. She can be a little skittish and hesitant, especially around other cats, so Judy might prefer to be a solo cat or need a slow introduction to new cats.

Judy Garland is 1-2 years old, and she is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. Frankie is cuddly, friendly, playful, and sweet.

Verification of veterinarian and personal references as well as Landlord (if applicable).

Meet the Pet

After approval, a meet & greet is set up between potential adopter and foster parent/cat.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

After a successful meet & greet, it will take at least 48 hours until finalizing the adoption is complete. Contract is signed & fee is paid.

Adoption Fees (without the 50% off discount):

Cats under 1 year old: $150 + 8% sales tax = $162
Cats aged 1-10 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Two kittens under 1 year old: $225 + 8% sales tax = $243
Senior Cats (10+ years old): $75 + 8% sales tax = $81

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
