My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Brody (originally Tabbie or Tabernacle)! I am some kind of pointer/ chocolate lab or Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever. I tuck my paw out and the tail goes straight out! I am a very good boy whose owner could no longer keep me, so I am back in an Arno foster. I weigh 67 lbs and am 9 years old. My foster says I am absolutely the best: very, very clean and do not seem to shed a lot! I ask to go out! I am a strong boy, but I prefer snuggling on the couch or sleeping in bed with you! I am no bed hog. I sleep at the bottom! I am not food aggressive at all, but very food motivated so will be good to train! I have been very good in the house even when the foster had a long shift! I got adopted, but my family had a child with allergies, so after all these years I came back to ARNO. I have been through so much but need a loving home. I am such a loving boy who loves to be an only child. That way everything is all about me and you.

I was originally rescued after the Great Denham Springs flood in 2017 when the whole shelter flooded suddenly, they opened all the kennels, and we swam up to the rooftop. Then we were stranded for days on land surrounded by water. That's how I got to be an ARNO baby. I have always been the only dog in the home and I prefer it that way! If you can be my forever home.
