Say hello to Plum, a delightful black-and-white beauty with a heart full of love! Plum adores every person she meets and thrives on human affection. However, this charming girl prefers to be the queen of her castle, so she would do her best as the only pet in her forever home. Plum can also be found curled up in a cozy hidey hole or stretched out, hoping for some well-deserved pets. But don’t let her chill demeanor fool you—breakfast is her favorite time of day! You’ll find her eagerly waiting at the door, chatting away to ensure she’s not forgotten. This plump and lovable lady found herself back at HSEC through no fault of her own, and now she’s patiently waiting for a home where she can truly shine. Could Plum be the perfect addition to your life?

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
