I’m Shein, a beautiful terrier mix with a lot of love to give. I’m growing up in the shelter and need my forever home!
I’m a medium-size girl around 40 pounds and came to the Humane Society of York County as a stray pup. My estimated birth date is March 2023.
I admit it, I crave attention and petting. I’ve been out in the community several times to represent the rescue – hikes on the Riverwalk, a festival, field trips. I love getting out and about, especially when I meet new people who will pet me. I’m a great car rider!
I love walks and playing tug-of-war with my human friends. I have anxiety in the shelter, but I’m a different girl when I can get away to relax, play or walk.
I would probably get along fine in a home with another dog if it’s calm. But I’m not really into playing with other dogs. I’m a cuddle bug and mostly love to get pets and snuggles from my people and play with them.
I still bring some young-pup energy and would do best in a home that offers me consistency and patience to continue my training. I’m a very intelligent girl, and I love treats – what a great combination for learning! If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
