Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I’m Gatlin, a beautiful brindle American Staffordshire terrier mix who would love to have a forever home for my senior years. (I’m Gatty or Gatty-girl to my friends at the Humane Society of York County.)
I came to HSYC from York County Animal Services. My estimated birth date is September 2013, and I’m about 55 pounds.
Though I’m a senior citizen, I’m an active, strong girl who loves playtime in the yard at the rescue. I particularly love squeaky balls and am adept at taking them apart! I also enjoy my daily walks, which help me get out my energy and enjoy time outdoors with my human friends.
I’m selective about the people I want to spend time with – if I love a person, I really, really love them. The same is true if I don’t. I’m a very smart girl and I read people very well!
As much as I love to play with a ball in the yard, I would much rather spend quality time with the many people I love.
I need to be the only pet in my forever home, and no small children. A dog-savvy person or family that is willing to give me time to adjust is important – time for us to connect and build trust. If you have the calm, stable home I’m craving, please call to meet me!If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
