My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Douglas, a German Shepherd mix with the most amazing ears you’ve ever seen.

I’m a handsome, energetic guy and like to play, but I can also settle down to just chill or get some snuggles.

I’m about 35-40 pounds and came to the Humane Society of York County from York County Animal Services. My estimated birth date is September 2023.

I went first to foster care, and my foster family helped me learn lots of new skills: sit, “off” and how to ask to go outside and do my business. They said I’m the smartest boy in the world and I learn quickly!

I’m a terrific car rider and have gone with other Humane Society pups to Cabela’s and the Riverwalk. I would do well in a forever home with other dogs.

I’m up to date on vaccines and preventions, neutered and microchipped. If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
