I’m Brett, a handsome Labrador Retriever/terrier mix who is looking for my forever fetch partner!
I was surrendered to the Humane Society of York County when my previous owner could no longer care for me. My estimated birth date is July 2019, and I'm about 60 pounds.
Did I mention that playing fetch is my favorite activity? I love to go on a good hike as well, especially if there’s some water to wade in along the way.
I can be nervous meeting new people, but if you give me time to get comfortable and trust you, I bring the cuddles and am an affectionate boy.
I’ve been at the shelter too long and need a stable forever home! I’ve had a rough journey and I need a family that will show me love and patience.
I’ve enjoyed my field trips with HSYC staff and volunteers, for hikes or pet store shopping, and have shown what a great car rider I am. I love to play with toys, and one of my favorite moves is to back up to my humans and sit on their lap.
I would do best in a dog-experienced home that can manage my energy, and I’d prefer to be the only pet.If you wish to meet me, please call the Humane Society of York County at (803)-802-0902 to schedule an appointment.
