Baboushka (Baboo)!

Baboo (full name Baboushka) is 9 years old as of November 11, 2023. He was rescued from a county pound in 2016 and has lived in California, Peru, Idaho, and Washington! He is a well-traveled dog, and loves to go for car rides, walks and stroller trips. Baboo has IVDD, which started when he was 4 years old. He went into immediate surgery, 24 hours after symptoms developed and spent 9 months in rehab and therapy until he started to walk again. I spent the next three years slowly working with him to get him to where he is today!

He can go on short trots, long, slow-paced walks, do some mild wrestling and live happily and painlessly thanks to a lot of hard work and patience on his part. He has come so far, has a big heart and is looking for his perfect cuddly family! He cannot jump or be overly active, due to having 3 herniated discs removed, and 2 remaining on his spine. He is looking for a forever home, preferably where he can be the only dog.
