Storm is 3 years old and 65ish lbs. She is house trained and loves being in her kennel when needed. Storm does great with submissive dog friends and ignores cats. She lived with kids in the past but typical to the herding breed, tends to get more anxious with their fast movements so we're suggesting older children in the home. Storm loves her people big and just wants to be near them as much as possible. She loves to run around the yard, go on car rides or leash walks and just be with her human(s). Storm is a super sweet pup that gives excellent hugs and kisses. Her adoption fee is $250 - apply at www.foreverhomedogs.org to meet her!All adoptions are $300 per dog for puppies under 1 year, $250 for adults 1 - 9 years old and $150 for senior dogs which include spay/neuter, micro-chipped and up-to-date on required shots.
Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.

Forever Home Dog Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals primarily from high-kill shelters.
In working with committed volunteers, temporary care homes and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue dogs, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. All our rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and have all necessary veterinary care.
We were formed in January 2014 and are a non-profit organization in central Iowa. We are pending our official 501c3 status. We receive no government funding and rely completely on donations.
