Benny (Pickle) is intelligent, curious, loving, happy, and family-oriented! You know the one that lights up the room when walking in? Yep. Benny's the one. L-o-v-e-s backyard fun. Toss the ball, no need to holler "fetch", zoomie zoom he's got it! Sit, shake, wait, down....all with an enthusiastic grin. Benny's been interested in clown school, but he's pretty silly and fun already! You know those toys that squeak, squeak - better keep a basket full. Terrific car rider and polite at the vet's office. A nice work from home buddy. At night, he rests contently on his own bed beside his beloved people. With excellent communication skills, he conveys his needs, whether it's a bathroom break, mealtime, or a desire for play. Best suited for older children because of his playful energy. Good with other dogs, house and crate trained, est. birthdate is 6/18/2023, his $300.00 adoption fee includes vaccines up to date, neuter and microchip.

Two by Two Rescue requires that you be at least 21 years of age and sign an adoption contract. If you have pets, they must be up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm preventative. A vet reference ( if you have pets) is required. More about this rescue

Two by Two Rescue began in 2002 when two ladies met and began feeding strays in Old Town Helena, Alabama. The rescue has grown to a 501 C (3) volunteer, no-kill organization. Our goal is to save the lives of abandoned, unwanted, and abused animals, and educate the public about responsible pet care. We care for these rescues in private foster homes. Our animals are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped regardless of breed, age, or medical cost. We receive no state funding or government assistance. We survive by the donations of caring people, fund raising, and adoption fees.
