My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Frank
Hello, name's Frank, I am 1 ½ years old and just as handsome as can be. I stand like the astute fella I plan to become, I think it is called manifesting.

Not much is known about my life before now but I am told I am a pretty calm and regal dog. I am a little bit unsure (these ears just hear it all) but panic isn't really my game. I am told I am a pretty chill guy.

My breed is a bit of a mystery, but these adorable ears and long legs make me ready to listen, learn, play, or just curl up and hang out. I am a fan of a new weekend activity but I don't need my every moment of every day filled, some time with you and your favorite people sounds like the good life, for us that is.
Come by and lets hang, my vibe is pretty great.

If you are interested in me, please give my friends at The Humane Society of Sedona a call. I can't wait to meet you! I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!

Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679.

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
