My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Frank, and let`s be frank: I am the best boy! I am 2 years old and just as handsome as can be! I stand tall and proud like the astute fella I plan to become. I think it is called manifesting my destiny - which I hope will be with you!

I am an active and regal dog. I am also a pretty chill guy once I get my exercise. I love to play fetch with a tennis ball, and if you like to hike or walk, I`m your guy! I can also see me at the river or lake with you, and being your BFF.

My breed is a bit of a mystery, but these adorable ears and long legs I could have some lab in me, along with Shepard. I am smart and ready to listen, learn, play, or just curl up and hang out. Between my personality and my looks, I have made many friends and now just need the right person or family to adopt me. So
come by the shelter and let`s hang... my vibe is pretty great.

I am fixed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and ready to go home with you, so please come visit me!

Please call between 10am-4pm to schedule an appointment to meet one of our animals! 928-282-4679.

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
