Frannie is a beautiful dog with an old soul! At 22lbs, Frannie is a lovable gal with the prettiest light brown eyes under all that scruff! Unfortunately, Frannie has tested positive for Heartworm, so she will need to be on heartgard for the rest of her life. She also needs work on potty-training in the home.

She has playful, sweet terrier energy, and anyone who adopts her will be gaining a wonderful and smart little friend!

More about this shelter

Our shelter had it's beginnings in the mid 90's and formally became a nonprofit organization in 2001. The dream of Lee and Sophia DiClemente has grown to be the largest no-kill animal shelter in New Mexico. Lee passed in 2010, but Sophia carries on with the support of a small staff, a large number of volunteers, and numerous donors - large and small.
