Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Aiko and Ama, 2-year-old sweethearts in search of a new forever home.
Aiko and Ama are both loving, playful, and cuddly beings. They have thrived on a raw diet and have had a healthy life. They are well trained and have excellent house manners!
Their healthy diet makes them shed less and they have never thrown up. Can you imagine?! They love walks outside with you in a protected space if you have one and they sleep thru the evening.
Ama loves to follow you around and play fetch with hair ties and is always down to play. She can be more independent during the day but loves cuddling at night.
Aiko is always down for a walk and play time…he naps during the day and loves to snuggle with Ama in their hanging basket at night. He’s very social and will go up to anyone for a pet and loves to be held if you do it how he likes. ;) They’re incredible cats and deserve the best together. They’re brother and sister and bonded for life.
Their former guardian is happy to provide toys, baskets, cat trees, a litter box and even a bluetooth cat door! He is also happy to provide all the info on their food delivery and vet that they’ve been seeing since kittenhood.
They’re so well taken care of and their human is devastated he can’t take them with him after his move. :(
We’d like to get them adopted into a loving home with a grounded family or person.
To learn more about these two cuties, reach out to Debbie at 415-548-0824 or email adoptions@jakesplacecatrescue.org.
These cats are considered a Courtesy Listing. We offer our services to help other responsible rescue groups or individuals find good homes for cats in need. We have screened and interviewed each of the individuals before agreeing to post their cats.

All of us at Jake's Place are committed to helping you find the right cat or kitten for your family situation. You can download our application and contract here on the website. We have our cats and kittens listed with a little biography of each, as well as many photos and a video of each. Feel free to call and ask questions about any of our cats. We would also love to meet you at any of our adoption events or possibly we can arrange a visit with the foster family. Our adoption fee is: $110 for a cat or kitten; $150 for a pair; $80 for a senior (8+yrs). This fee helps us to pay for testing (FIV/Leukemia), vaccines, parasite treatment, spay/neuter & microchipping, as well as anything else the cats might need while in our care. Seniors may need blood work or a dental care. The volunteers at Jake's Place are diverse group of dedicated animal lovers. Some of us have worked in rescue before, some are new to it. Some of us have known each other for years, others more recently involved. Having all come together in the last few years and finding that we had the same passion to help cats, we started thinking about the possibilities of putting our various expertise to work in creating something wonderful. While Jake's Place is a relatively new organization, our work goes back 14 years and our energy and drive is stronger than ever. We are committed to rescuing responsibly, fostering in loving & caring homes and finding the best possible forever homes.
