Toby is a darling 4-year-old male who came from a puppy mill. If possible, the new family should have experience with puppy mill dogs.
Weighing about 18 lbs., he is a cautious little guy.
He loves playing outside and hanging out with his foster brothers and sisters.
He loves running the yard, chasing squirrels, or running the fence line with the neighbor's dogs.
Though he walks quite well on a leash, he may be slow to warm with people.
He attaches to other dogs more quickly than to people.
He will need a patient home.
He is currently living with four other dogs, and he must have another dog in residence.
Because he has never been around children with sudden movements and noises, he needs a quiet adult home.
Some of his favorite things include chewing on dog bones, sitting on his dog bed monitoring the activity around him and being outside.
He has just begun to show interest in toys.
He is crate trained and is still working on house training.
Toby is very routine oriented and needs adjustment time when a change occurs.
Once he warms up, he can be a sweet boy.
He must have a securely fenced yard. (When frightened he will run.) His forever home will need to have a small dog already living in the home. The home needs to be a quiet adult home. **There are no exceptions to these things**
Toby is located in MI
