My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet boy is only 2 yrs old and a 20 lb Shitzu mix. He is very friendly and loving. Does great with other dogs and with everyone he meets. He is not a big fan of his crate, but he does love his toys. Small children may be a bit much for him, but kids over 10 would be just fine. If you want to meet Chewy, please fill in an application.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
