Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Queen is a 5 year old husky mix we recently rescued from the dog sledding industry. Queen is a sweet loving companion who loves to be in the same room and cuddle with her foster mom. She is a dream dog!
Queen is quiet for a husky and pretty calm too. She is house broken and no signs of resource guarding around her 2 foster brothers. She loves to go explore the world on walks but equally loves curling up beside you on the couch.
She’s good with both male and female dogs. She loves to play with them!
She seems to just inherently know the house rules and is both crate trained and house broken. She has not been exposed to cats or small animals. She does seem to have tendencies of a high prey drive so it wouldn’t be recommended for her to be around cats and small dogs or animals, unless you can safely test her with them to see.
Queen is so sweet with kids and has such a shockingly even temperament for a husky! She is rather meek and timid when first meeting someone but quickly comes out of her shell.
She loves chews, toys and long walks in the bush! Queen will easily fall asleep when being given tummy rubs, something she adores. She has decided that she deserves a life of luxury after years chained up - she loves lying on the bed or couch. She deserves it!
She is not an aggressive puller when walking on a leash but there’s room for improvement and she’s working on that with her foster mom. Queen also is learning and working on her basic commands. She just learned her name! She is a keen learner because unlike her foster brothers she has the desire to please and be loved.
She would be good in either a single dog or multiple dog home, and she would be the perfect addition to a loving family.
Queen will be spayed before adoption. She is dewormed, UTD on vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500.
