Hi there. My name is Bandit and I’m a male 5-year-old Shih Tzu mix. I’m about 14 lbs., and full of personality. My cute face and big eyes are hard to resist. I love to play, but can be a bit rough at times. It’s something my foster mom is working on, but I still have some work to do. I love cuddling on the couch and will put my head on your lap and like to be hugged like a baby. As far as strangers, I can be a little unsure and snarky at first. So it’s best if I’m introduced to strangers slowly.
Kids over 12 are best. I do think I’m the boss sometimes, so a firm but gentle hand is probably the best thing for me.
I am potty trained and crate trained, in fact it’s my little safe space. If you leave the door open you will likely find me sleeping in there. I do love my walks and walk pretty good, but at first I can be a little excited and want to be the leader. I have also been known to do some zoomies in the yard as well. For me, a secured fenced yard is a bonus, but not required.
I have been vet checked, neutered, micro chipped, heartworm tested negative, am up to date on routine shots including rabies and have been treated with flea & heartworm preventative.
Bandit’s adoption fee is $495.
