My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey is an approximately 1.5 year old pittie type. She is an extremely affectionate dog that is very one person oriented. She would be an excellent fit for someone that is living a single lifestyle and is in search of an emotional support animal. She has been living in a foster home since April. She likes other dogs, but because she wants all of your attention, she would do best as an only dog that has dog friends. She loves car rides, going on adventures. Honey will benefit from having someone dedicated to providing her with ongoing structure, obedience training, and confidence building. If you're looking for your new best friend, your ride or die, the always got your back kind of dog...then Honey is ready and waiting for you. Are you ready for her?

Her adoption fee is $150. Honey is a courtesy post for House of Hope at Shelton WA. Submit your application and we will forward it to her rescue. Home visit is required to adopt a House of Hope foster dog.

Thank you for choosing to adopt.

More about this rescue

Forever Home Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We receive dogs from owner surrenders and overcrowded shelters. All of the dogs are housed in private, loving foster homes or a kennel in the greater Seattle area. We assess their behaviors and health and help them relax during their transition to a forever home. The dogs remain in foster care or in our kenneling facility until they are adopted. All of the dogs are/or will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and are current on routine vaccinations.

Forever home dog rescue is not a shelter and thus you cannot see the dogs without an appointment.

We need foster homes! Thinking about adopting a dog, but not sure yet about which breed or if you're ready for the long-term commitment? Consider becoming a foster parent. A foster dog placement can be anywhere from two weeks to several months. We provide any dog supplies you may need and cover all necessary medical costs for your foster dog. You provide the love and attention and bring the dogs to adoption events at least twice per month.

Interested? Send us an email at fhdrwa@gmail.com and we'll send you a foster application. It's lots of fun and you will meet lots of dogs and other people who love dogs.
