Hey there, I'm Linguine! But my foster fam calls me Little Girl too. It's a cute story, actually. I was rescued with my siblings, and we all got pasta-themed names. So fun, right?
I'm a bit of a quiet introvert. I love cheesy treats, scrambled eggs, and chill nights watching TV. My foster mom jokes that I might be a cat stuck in a dog's body. I love my humans, but I'm totally cool hanging out in my crate when new people show up. I'm never in the way or underfoot, always keeping an eye on my people, and I'm a total cuddle bug when things are calm. She says this might make it a little harder to find my forever home, but the rescue folks never give up. They're determined to find my perfect match!
My brothers and sisters? They were all in the kennel with me after we were rescued. They got adopted, but the kennel life was tough for me. I got more and more shy, so people kind of overlooked me. But then I landed in this awesome foster home! I love the older kids and the other dogs here. We have a blast. I'm a really good girl, and once I get settled, I'm a total delight. So, here's the big question: Could you be the one to give me my forever home?
Could you be the perfect person for me?

How to Adopt from Corridor Rescue
Thank you for choosing to adopt your new family member from us! You are saving a life when you adopt. Our team would be delighted to help you make the right match with the dog or puppy that will best suit your family and lifestyle. The first step is to fill out the adoption application below.
To adopt you must:
• Show a government-issued picture ID
• Be at least 21 years of age
Which dog do I choose?
You can see our adoptable dogs and puppies waiting to meet someone just like you right here. If you find one you love, please put his or her name on your application. Or, if you still aren't sure which dog is right for you, just note “undecided” in that section. Our placement team volunteers will help you meet your match! They'll read over your application and talk to you about which dogs you may want to consider.
What happens after I apply?
After we look over your application, a member of our placement team will talk with you on the phone about the dog you'd like to adopt and tell you more about him or her. Our volunteer may arrange for a home visit to help you ensure you are prepared to meet the dog's needs. If you aren’t local, your home visit will involve taking us on a virtual tour of your home via video or photographs.
How do I get my new dog?
If you are in the Houston area, we encourage you to come to our facility to meet the dogs, or if a dog you are interested in is in a foster home, a meet and greet can be arranged. There is a $200 adoption fee for adult dogs, $250 for puppies under a year old. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have been tested for heartworm disease. Puppies too young to be spayed or neutered are available through our Foster-to-Adopt option. With our Continuing Care program, the adoption fee is waived for some senior and special needs dogs, and an annual stipend for medical care is included.
We adopt throughout the US and Canada. We can assist in arranging travel for your new dog if you aren’t local. The transport fee is $75 - $325, depending on your location and mode of travel. We’ll be happy to discuss that with you.
Every dog adopted from Corridor Rescue comes with our lifetime promise: If, for any reason, you can no longer care for your dog, he or she is always welcome to come back to us.

Corridor Rescue Inc. is an all-breed 501(c)(3) non-profit street dog rescue on a mission of mercy, rescue and awareness -- a mission to save lives and correct an injustice to animals who have been thrown away and left to fend for themselves in an area in Houston dubbed the "Corridor of Cruelty." Here, trash and animals are discarded without thought on a regular basis. We're not talking about a handful of animals, but hundreds of animals fighting to simply survive another day.
Founded by one person, Corridor Rescue has grown its team of volunteers, from all walks of life, united in an effort to help this community of orphaned animals in desperate need of help. We work to rescue hard to capture dogs and cats, to rescue and rehabilitate diseased and injured dogs, to facilitate the rescue of animals mainly from the Corridor of Cruelty but also from other areas of Houston, and to educate about spay/neuter and animal cruelty laws.
Success happens on the streets every day, yet we know that our fight is far from over.
