My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Cindy. I'm a pretty friendly gal, always ready to share a purr or a playful swat at a toy mouse. I love to show my affection by kneading, it's my way of saying 'I love you'. I'm a gentle soul, sweet as can be. I'm quite the mouser too, so no worries about any uninvited guests. I do prefer to be the queen of my castle, so a home without other pets would be purrfect for me. I promise to fill your home with love, joy, and a dash of playful mischief. So why not take me home? I'll be your best friend and the sweetest companion you could ask for.

We are located in Priest River right on the main highway (Highway 2) and attend as many adoption events as we can each year. We have several fund raisers and you can learn about them on our website

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
