Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bugs is your typical stubborn bully breed! He is sweet and playful to those he knows and trusts. He loves to run his zoomies in the yard! He will need to continue working with his trainer after adoption to ensure a successful transition and future!
Current issues that need to be worked on: Bugs has issues meeting people. He is consistently working on impulse control and proper greeting etiquette. With his training he’s learned to relax in a social setting, but lifelong precautionary measures will need to be taken to ensure safety. He does have a history of attempted bites upon greeting and has been muzzle conditioned for this reason.
Positive attributes: Bugs loves scratches & running around in the yard playing chase! He learns very quickly and is respectful of his commands. He loves food making him easy to train for most things.
Animal sociability: He would be best in a home without other animals.
Ideal home: Bugs would do best in a home dedicated to his needs. He can really be a sweet boy, but he needs someone who can help him shine! A dog saavy home is an absolute must. Someone who understands the breed and is prepared to manage him lifelong.
Quiet in crate? Yes! The only time he makes a peep is when a human he doesn’t know walks by. But as soon as they’re out of sight, he’s quiet! He enjoys a peanut butter kong when left for a few hours but he isn’t fussy without! I keep a blanket and a hard chew bone in his crate for him to curl up with!
Housebreaking (if known)? He has a solid schedule & only goes potty outside!
House manners? He can be excitable but he goes to place & relaxes!
