Jacob: a true San Francisco Dog

Jacob is a true adventurer who loves long walks by the water in Chrissy Field and car rides with the windows down. He thrives on playtime at the dog park, making new friends and enjoying the thrill of chasing after toys. Treats, especially pig ears, are his ultimate reward after a day of exploring. When he's not busy having fun, you can find him lounging and napping in his favorite sunny spot. Don't mention baths, vacuums, or hairdryers-those are not his favorite things!

He's been doing exceptionally well with big dogs, small dogs, puppies, packs of dogs, and humans. He's extremely affectionate and loves to lounge on the couch in the bed or on his bed, but he can turn it on whenever he needs to! Very gently with other dogs, humans, and kids!

He's thriving in a foster in San Francisco and would do great in a forever home! Apply today!

Once your applicaton has been approved you will be invited to select a time to meet your potential pet.

We are looking for responsible, warm-hearted people to give our dogs the wonderful homes they deserve. Our adoption process is thorough but fast. We focus on making the best match between you and the right dog. To adopt, you will need to:

1. Complete the Adoption Application.
2. Meet the dog you want to adopt.
3. Show proof that you can have a dog in your home (lease, mortgage, letter from landlord).
4. Sign our Adoption Agreement and pay an Adoption Fee.

However we host regular adoption pop-ups at Pet Food Express Sonoma (Saturday's 11am-2pm) and on the first Sunday of the month can be found at Pet Food Express, 1975 Market Street, San Francisco.
