The only thing Brandy loves more than play is people! She adores toys and loves a good game of fetch. She also adores snuggling with her human friends and walking with her buddy Dallas-- she might do well in a home with a canine companion! She is a goofy gal whose full-body wiggle is an easy indicator of her zest for life and desire to please. She even will toss the ball back to you-what a smart cookie! Brandy weighs in at 65 lb. Here`s what one of our wonderful volunteers had to say about a recent excursion they took with Miss Brandy:
“My only regret about taking Brandy on a hike is that I didn`t take her out sooner! She was great!
Brandy loaded up eagerly into the car and then settled into quietly sitting and looking out the window.
When we got to our destination, the Arcata Ridge Trail, she was at first mostly curious and interested in all the smells. Once we got moving she was super happy to be there and kept looking back and smiling at me. She made the most adorable little grunts when she was sniffing! We passed many people and dogs and Brandy was just fine! She was super interested to meet everyone at first but quickly understood that I was asking her to politely stand off to the side of the trail. She got the hang of that and then really enjoyed being told what a good girl she is after each passerby. Brandy was a fantastic hiking buddy and I`d love to take her out again anytime!”
