My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ginger was surrendered to our local shelter after being bred for profit in her younger years. She’s now ready for a life of peace, quiet and BLANKETS. Ginger LOVES blankets! Not having a blanket for her is a complete deal breaker! As an older gal she is easy and wants nothing but love. Oh, and a blanket! She’s good with other calm dogs but prefers no puppies or super energetic dogs bouncing around her, she’s past those days. Ginger is fostered in GA and will be attending our Adoption Event at the Durham Fairgrounds May 17-19th. Save time, fill out an Application to be preapproved to adopt at our event. Preapproved adopters may schedule appointments to meet dogs on Friday, May 17th.

Our pets are in CT, GA and PA foster homes. Dogs in PA may be able to come to CT prior to the event to meet adopters. Dogs in GA will arrive right before the event so you must come to the event to meet them. Fill out an online application to start the adoption process.
