Sweet Lee came to us as a wild teenage kitten who had been living on the run since birth. We got him neutered and vetted but we wondered whether he would adapt to being an indoor cat. As he’s grown up in foster care, he’s decided that the creature comforts of being an inside kitty are indeed where it’s at but he’s still a little fearful of humans. He doesn’t love being touched but he does love to hang out with people. If you’re missing the presence of feline energy in your home but you’re not into cats who need you, Lee is your man! He loves to play with fishing pole toys and he really likes catnip but he’s probably never going to get in your lap. He really just wants to peacefully coexist with you and who knows, in the right home he may just blossom into a snuggle bug! Will you give him that chance?
The first step is to complete the cat adoption application below.
Symbiotic Inc has a required minimum $150 adoption donation (it is tax deductible!)
All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on all needed health care before adoption is finalized.
We require a meet and greet with all potential adopters, a home visit and a vet reference (if applicable).
If you are interested in adopting please visit our website to find our adoptions standards and a link to our cat adoption questionnaire.

More about this rescue
Our rescue is a little different in the fact that we work very hard to be a “match maker” with potential homes. If it does not work out with the pet you applied for, we would love to help your family find the next right match! None of our animals are in a shelter environment but rather living with a foster family in a home environment. Additionally, all of our animals have a 30 day minimum stay in their foster home before we even list them as available for adoption. This is so we can make sure we know as much as we can about their behaviors, likes, dislikes, quirks and habits before we try and place them in a forever home.
