Meet Mara, she is a fun loving young dog. Mara will add so much love and entertainment to any family she joins. Mara is about 2 years old, she is just the right amount of energy and calm.
Mara has been in foster care about 2 months and has learned so much. She is potty trained but may have the occasional accident when she is over excited or scared. She can be rather reserved with new people and will guard her family when in the home. It does not take her long at all to make friends with new people if they are willing to come down to her level and prove they are worthy. Mara does great out and about at the farmers market and other events. She loves other dogs and does a wonderful job matching their energy level. She lives with cats and does wonderful with them too. She would love it if they played with her but will leave them alone if they don’t want to. Her current routine is to play a bit in the morning while her family is getting ready. During the day she lounges and plays with her many many toys while her family is working, she is great at self-entertaining. After work she enjoys a walk and some zoomies around the back yard and then snuggle time. Her favorite place to sleep is on her foster mom’s pillow.
