My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tucker is a clown. He is a typical hound dog who just wants to be near his people - which also means he does not want to be in his crate while you're home! He needs to be where the action is and he'll follow you from room to room to make sure he's in the thick of it.
He has never met a dog or person he didn't immediately love. His tail is constantly wagging.
He is house trained and walks well on leash...but he's got some work to do on the household manners! Be sure your food is out of reach if he's around. He is an older gentleman, so he is well past the puppy crazies. He is learning some basic commands (sit, crate, off, leave it are all good) and working on others (down, recall, place, settle, wait, bring it). After some trial and error, we have found that his favorite training treat is banana chips.

Additional adoption info

Puppies under 6 months of age must be placed in a home with another young, playful dog within 2 hours of Philadelphia. We typically do not place female dogs in homes with other female dogs.
